Summary: After thorough analysis of possible project proposals and after the consultation with the partner school in Germany the project “RENEWABLE SOURCES OF ENERGY” with the aim of construction of model of a “Wind Turbine” was selected.Wind power belongs to the historically oldest used sources of energy. The Project contains a construction of demonstrative teaching aid that should prove that it is possible to produce energy using only alternative sources.The model will be constructed by students of the 3rd grade of the field of machinist and high-voltage current electrician. During the construction students will use all their knowledge they gained during the previous two years of their studies. Students will check and implement their practical knowledge and skills proceeding from the curriculum in the practice. During the construction of different parts of the model students will use their knowledge of work with numerical controlled machines and modelling of parts using a program Solidworks.The work activity will also consist of carrying out theoretical calculations, such as calculation of the output of the wind turbine, calculation of revolution of generator rotor, calculation of parameters of coils, rate of project return etc.After finishing the project the model will be installed on the roof of school workshop and the electrical power will be used for heating the water in the area of workshop changing rooms. The model will also serve as a promotional material for events organized by our school, such as Visitor´s day, International Craft Games, cooperation with primary schools and various students intake events. Participants in the project:We have agreed with our partner school to use the rules of European evaluating system ECVET for the first time. It is used to set exactly the knowledge the students will gain during the practical training. Both partners will do the activities that will lead to getting the expected knowledge and skills. The descriptions of five educational units are enclosed to the project application. The project participants envolved into ECVET will have better idea what is expected from them and which knowledge they will gain. Our sending school can ensure the future participants even better quality of proffessional training by usage of European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training. The evaluation form will also be useful for the future employers of the students that took part in the project. The employers will have a better idea what the participant is or is not good at.The project involves students from two different schools. Each group will consist of twelve students. In this project will participate students of 3th grade of machinist from our school and the partner school. The project will be carried out in two stages:In the first stage, students at their schools will design future solutions and prepare drawings of the single construction parts via SolidWorks software. The start is set on 17th of April 2017, the end of the technical study stay abroad is set on 31. 08. 2017 May: evaluation of the technical study stay, arrangement of workshop June: elaboration of final reports of participants, elaboration of the final report of project Result: The model is an overview of subjects, both theoretical and technical part sof studying, during lessons in first and second grade of the field of machinist. The project will increase also interest in field of machinist or lathe operators in Moravia Silesian region, one of the regions with the highest level of unemployment in the Czech Republic.
