The purpose of the project is to enable the participants to gain practical work experience in their chosen vocation in a European country in order to develop key skills necessary to be competitive in the European job market. It also serves as a networking opportunity for the educational partners involved, leading to an enhancement of their international profile and ultimately the quality of the vocational training offered at these institutions. The project is designed for 18 participants per country of destination. The participants are students in vocational training in the medical sector. They have gained solid practical and theoretical skills throughout their training and will be able to apply and further develop these skills during the project. Main activities of the project will include participating in relevant classes at the host institution, working in the companies as well as a range of cultural activities to enhance the participants' understanding of the host country's language, culture and society. The preparation stage of the project will cover vocational and intercultural topics as well as the host county's language through a range of methods and activities such as private study, information sessions, workshops and language courses and language training. The aim of the project is to develop the participants' skills as well as enhancing the quality of education at the participating institutions and strenghtening the partnership between them. These effects will have a positive impact well beyond the project.
