Aim: The main aim of the exchange is to raise awareness of cultural diversity and develop skills for using cultural diversity as a positive and powerful tool in youth work. To rationalize and implement different ways of actively involving young people in the projects related to cultural diversity and European identity; to develop the idea of volunteering and its application in everyday life of young people.Îbjectives of the exchange are:" To discuss topics related to volunteerism as a way of life, awareness, participation in public life;" To reflect on issues such as identity, nationalism, Europe, discrimination, social exclusion and their relevance to youth projects;" To exchange and analyse today's challenges and to initiate innovative projects on participation and citizenship and document good practice and and development of volunteering" To develop practical approaches and methods for translating solidarity, empathy, democracy, citizenship and volunteering into youth work practice;" To motivate and enable participants to share their acquired knowledge, information and experience as widely as possible and act as multipliers on the issues of volunteering, intercultural education, equal opportunities and empowerment of the youth after the exchange;The methodology of the exchange: The experiences and realities of participants, will be the starting point of the programme and of the learning process. The course is designed to give participants the opportunity to experience and reflect upon the issues of volunteering, intercultural dialogue and solidarity using the group of participants, their experiences and perceptions, as the basis for learning together and develop common projects. The exchange will thus be a mutual learning situation, where participants can compare their approaches and concerns in a dialogical intercultural approach and environment. The use of experiential methods, including activities from Compass, will strengthen the practical side of the exchange and will also provide concrete examples of work. Towards the end of the project, participants should be able to imagine and design common co-operation projects; information on existing funding possibilities and other conditions will be provided for this purposeDuration, Venue, Partners: The exchange will bring together for 6 working days, 35 experienced and active young people representatives from 6 European countries. (Bulgaria, Portugal, Hungary, Malta, Slovakia, Turkey).Target group and profile of the participants: o young people from 6 youth organizations from Europe responsible for youth information processing and delivering; young people from 6 youth organizations from Europe responsible for youth volunteering and volunteers;o young people from 6 youth organizations developing youth exchanges and working on international level; o young people from 6 youth organizations providing youth information and working with disadvantaged young people; o participant should be aged between 18 and 25; o play an active role in a youth organization; o involved in developing the exchange projects and activities
