European Voluntary Service project 'Volunteer Involved!' is aimed at providing non-formal education and intercultural learning opportunities to young people from Kavadarci, Macedonia, but foremost for one volunteer from Estonia. It is part of a current local project of the Receiving Organization Youth Associaiton creACTive that mainly works on promoting creativity and active citizenship of young people. Sending organization is Involved NGO from Estonia. This project includes one EVS volunteer from Estonia aged 18-30 years to be hosted in the project in Macedonia. Overall project duration is 18 months, while individual Service lasts for 12 months. Service is planned to start from September 2015. EVS project will be based in the local youth club of the organization in Kavadarci, while part of the activities will be also developed in some villages near the city. Target group of this project are young people aged 13 to 25 from the town and the nearby villages. The activities include various workshops in the fields of arts, culture, language courses, use of computers, sports, theatre, media, games and others. The club is also open for youngsters’ free time activities during the whole day. The club already functions and employs two youth workers. Current project aims at giving young person more skills, competences and knowledge for future prospectives in order to be more competitive in the labor market and also fosters international learning and mutual understanding.
