Vocational Flexible Learning at the Workplace (LEARN AT WORK)

The project intends to educate and support vocational teachers to adapt and develop new learning methods, new e-e-learning modules and new pedagogical aspects in order to provide flexible and lifelong learning at the workplace.The title “LEARN AT WORK” implicates that the main objective is to move supplementary training from school to workplace.The main objectives of the projecs are: 1) to establish a European network for partners with shared competence in a virtual “knowledge centre” with flexible learning objects, methods and best practices, 2)to develop, test in enterprises and evaluate new methods and learning modules in cooperation with enterprises, 3)to improve communications, planning, flexible education and organisation in the building trade, 4)to work with joint European Standards (SCORM). The project focus on 5 themes in relation to the objectives of the project:1.New pedagogical methods, new ways of digital communication between teacher and learner as the teacher’s role change from instructor to organiser and coach according to individual needs. 2. New ways of organising education to respond “on demand”from industry with specific needs from day to day.3.New technological solutions,4. New materials:Modularised and digital communication teghnology according to European standards .5. New ways of cooperation between enteprises, employee/learner and education institution. The results will be flexible methods, learning modules and models for interaction with enterprises and a web-platform with interactive information for teachers, employees and enterprises.
