For 12 moths, 8 volunteers from 7 EU countries will be involved in the Vitamin T plus project, through which they will develop activities destined to disadvantaged children and youth from hospitals, social centers, schools, kindergartens and high-schools of Bucharest and rural areas- which will have as main purpose the promotion of theatrical instruments to and for education and the link to cultural diversity. An important dimension of the activities will be centered on the promoting among youth of democratic values, of active citizenship and of volunteering attitude. Through this project, A.C.T.O.R. in partnership with educational and social institutions will provide a vast series of performances with educative character to children and youth which have no reach of theatre from social, economical, geographical or financial reasons. He will be able to sustain a practical research required for publishing the PHD paper Limits of Theatre in education, conceived by the coordinator of this project, which will have as final goal the creation of a university specialization course for the young artist of Romania.
The project will produce video and multimedia materials which will be exposed freely on the Internet in order to be used by youth workers or by specialists in education through and with theatre from all Europe.
