The project Weekend´s school without SEXISM are focused on involving young people in democratic process. It is connected with actual topic of non-ethicaland discriminating representations in advertisment, which is nowadays quite usual. For example billboards, flyers and large advertisment boards are common part of our everyday life and we are able to influence their content via public discussions. Project will take place in the Czech and Slovak Republic, where young people will be taught through informal learning how to fight against sexism and non-ethical advertisment and additionally, how to participate on public commitment. The aim of the project is to motivate young people to be active concerning fight against negative social phenomena via educational workshops, own happenings and motivating young people to organize their own campaigns against non-ethical advertisment. The project will run 9 months and will contain two educational weekend´s schools (5 days) and a comparative case study about sexism in the media in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.
