During a period of 12 months a volunteer from Valencia, Spain will be doing a European Voluntary Service with Cirkus In Beweging, a circus educational organisation in Leuven Belgium. This project is supported by the European Commission ( Erasmus+) Its an individual EVS-project. With this project we want the volunteer to get to know our organisation and visualise our different activities with video, photography and new media. The volunteer will be involved in our artistic, educational and social activities. The volunteer will be working with young people from different backgrounds and learn how to use circus use for the personal development of youngsters. The volunteer will learn to use circus as a mean for cultural self-expression, and as a form of non competitive physical activity which promotes a healthy lifestyle. The volunteer will work together with the teachers, administrators and coordinators of our circus organisation in Leuven. She can participate at the teachers and other group meetings to plan and evaluatie the activities of our organisation. The volunteer will also be involved in our international projects by communicating with our international partners and assist during the organisation of international meetings and workshops.
