Kulturni Centar Indjija, Unga Örnar Vallås and Die Falken Neukölln, three local youth associations from Serbia, Sweden and Germany, who collaborated for some years has implemented a Youth Erasmus +, Key Action 1 with the name "We are poor, we are moving! Or ?! ". The theme of the exchange came about after discussions with the youth of the three unions, the German and Swedish young people wanted to explore why it came more and more people from other countries to beg in their countries and why the number of refugees increases, the Serbian young people see and hear young in their neighborhood who do not want more than to move from their own country and they are experiencing real poverty in their local environment. Together we explored the issues of poverty and migration and tried to come up with positive future of publishing. We learned facts and agreed that a better future requires an active citizenship, we discussed the circumstances and conditions in order to be able and dare to be part of future changes and comparing our different countries. The most important was the creative exploration and the live discussions between young people from different countries. We used different methods of non-formal learning such as group work, hives, role play, drama, painting and drawing, in order to successfully obtain the active participation that forms the basis for our exchange. The theme was examined whilst we blending outdoor recreation and outdoor sports. There were 30 young people aged 13 to 23 years, ten from each country for nine days. Several of the participants were young people with fewer opportunities. The exchange took place at Gården Ön, Marbäck, Halland in Sweden during 19 to 27 July 2014. The participants received knowledge and understanding of the issue of how poverty and migration are related. They can formulate thoughts about a better alternative future and have ideas about how to influence society to get closer to this future society. They increased their knowledge of English, especially in daring to speak. The participants received an expanded network of contacts, new friends, a strengthened self-confidence and increased both its cultural competence and social skills. They got insight into what active citizenship means and most participants feel attracted by contributing to social change, they feel even greater value in participating in the elections to the decision-making assemblies. They have tried new outdoor sports and various forms of outdoor recreation and felt positively influenced by this and understood the importance of its curative effect and positive impact on the health and self-confidence. Participants have in various ways spread information about the theme and the possibility of implementing a youth exchangeship, both during the exchange and after. The information was targeted at both the general public and decision-makers. The exchange has inspired several participants to higher studies and increase everyone's employability.
