The project must be observed in context with the strategic tasks and activities of european education at the Waldblick - Oberschule Freital - Niederhäslich, which are part of the program of the school. These are especially "foreign language competences of students", "professionalization of teachers in european context" and "leadership and management". For ten years the school has developed structures and activities in a systematic way, succeeding to reach a sustainable international cooperation. In the future it will be important to hold this level and to respond to new requirements (increasing number of students with migration background, inclusion, generational change of the staff and to encourage the teachers professionally).The participants of the project are the Principal of the school and a French language teacher. The essential goals of the project are the promotion of the competences of teaching French as a foreign language as well as the establishment of relationships to a french school. The principal takes part a the Talinn Conference of the Learning Teacher Network as it's German representative. The task is to learn more about international tendencies and experiences in the field of entrepreneurship for teaching persons and the presentation of the own experiences and results and their critical reflection for the european background as well. Further the Pincipal wants to maintain the professional exchange to other network members and improve the capabilities of English as an international conference language. The activities planned are a two weeks training for French in France for the teacher and the participation at the annual LTN conference for the principal. Additionally to the personal professionalization of the participants there are anticipated effects to the French teachers staff as well as to their regional teachers group. The principal will present his experiences to the regional principals group and he will also use it for the principals training courses. The sustainable benefits consist of the improvement of the teaching level of French as a foreign language and the rising attractivity of French on the one hand as well as the stabilization of the strategy of european education at the Waldblick - Oberschule Freital - Niederhäslich on the other hand.
