Improving the use of media in language teaching for further internationalisation , eg Introduction of e- Twinning Preparation for student exchange with GB to our WG/BKFR This training activity aims to improve the skills of a teacher concerning the use of ICT for teaching and internationalisation. The teacher should be trained in a training course on new methods and didactics of foreign language teaching as well as new teaching and learning methods in terms of media, the Internet and networks. The training is designed for the English department to test new methods of teaching to enhance existing skills, and to be able to test e-twinning. Furthermore, training abroad should promote contacts with teachers and institutions in foreign countries. Skilled personnel should also collect first-hand experience abroad, which they in turn can pass on to colleagues and students. We hope that, in the long run, the experience gained on the pedagogical use of ICT and internationalisation will make our teaching more relevant and motivating to both our teachers and students.
