Verbesserung der Unterrichtsqualität im Fach Englisch für eine inklusive Schule durch die Weiterbildung der Lehrkräfte
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Oberschule Steinkirchen is located in a very rural area. In order to enable our students to withstand the world of work after school we need teachers who are open-minded and well-educated. It is their task to bring international experiences to the classroom. We would be glad to give Ms Corleis the chance to take part in Erasmus+. The training would enhance her competences in regards of being a teacher who uses communicative und individual methods in her daily work. Additionally, Ms Corleis would improve her foreign language skills. Our colleague wants to take part in the workshop “Storytelling goes Storyline” which is taking place from 25th July until 1st August 2015 at the Strathclyde University of Glasgow. She already got in contact with the methods of Storytelling and Storyline while her teacher training and even used a Storyline for her final exam. The workshop is in her summer holidays so she would use some of her free time for it. Ms Corleis is the tutor of a very heterogeneous class which is extremely difficult to teach. Some of her students are generally weak learners so that English as a foreign language is extremely difficult to them. She would see her gain of competences as a excellent contribution to her repertoire of teaching methods. According to that, not only Ms Corleis but also her students would profit a lot. Her classes would also gain in the European dimension. Her classes would profit in terms of individualisation and communication. We are of course interested in any further exchange or development of other international projects with colleagues from different countries. We anticipate Ms Corleis to make some contacts with international teachers from all over Europe. Ms Corleis expects to improve her foreign language skills as well.
