At our school we have a rising number of mixed ability classes. This is a challenge and it's only possible to teach these students successfully if the teachers have a correspondent background knowledge. Our project aims to improve the cultural awareness of the collegues. Furthermore the teachers also need to improve their English and collect authentic material to motivate the students and support them individually. In the next school year Ms. Krüger will pass on her knowledge obtained within the framework of different internal conferences to her colleagues and she will also let her colleagues sit in on her own lectures. She will also make available to her colleagues the received material. Ms. Krüger will be responsible for the practical and logistical aspects of the project. Our school will support Ms. Krüger in any insurance matters required by law. With respect to a lifelong learning we expect a long-term improvement of our teaching quality by integrating a variety of methods our classes, and we also aim to apply these methods in a differentiated way in our school internal curriculum. Furthermore, the participants of the project expect an intensive language training in dialogue with excellent authentic language speakers . We will realize improvements in this area by a good participation of our students with high enthusiasm in our English classes. We want to have all children actively and kreatively participate in the teaching process and with it profit from an improved teaching. We are also open and interested for any further exchange or development of other international projects together with colleagues As mentioned before our school is working on a method guide to improve the standards at our school. For this reason it's important to get material from native speakers and it's also efficient to exchange material and ideas with teachers from other countries .
