Verbesserung der sprachlichen Fähigkeiten für fächerübergreifenden Unterricht und Internationalisierung im Rahmen des schulischen Leitbildes und in Vorbereitung auf die Einführung des Internationalen Baccalaureat

Altogether, we intend to send out 16 teachers who apply for the different courses. Ten non-native language teachers of English, Spanish and French attend language and teaching methods courses over the period of application. Two Geography teachers are sent to Northern or Western Europe for regional studies. Two History teachers are sent to Italy or Greece for historical studies. Two teachers are sent to a partner school for job shadowing in connection with eTwinning. To ensure a maximum profit of these measures, we will continuously evaluate the progress and elaborate improvements. A high speaking proficiency of our teachers is needed for introducing IB courses at our school. Another aim is to promote Europe oriented intercultural projects with a direct effect on the teaching process. Students should be motivated to learn a foreign language and other skills like teamwork and project planning. The exchange with teachers of other schools should be increased through the attended courses and the starting of eTwinning projects. As we encourage teachers to use standard IT technicology at our school.
