Verbesserung der Sprach- und Sachkenntnisse für die Erarbeitung bilingualer Module

For 2 years there has been a focus on a united Europe in year 10 at our school. All foreign languages (English, Frech, Spanish, Latin) cooperate with the subjects Geography and Social Studies on that topic . Within the project students learn more about all the EU member states, their history and culture, take part in discussions with members of the EU parliament or in strategical games as well as in debating.
In order to improve the bilingual parts, we expext teachers to extend their knowledge and to improve their language commands.
We also want the students to participate in our international projects.
3 French teachers are asked to go on a Job-shadowing in a French school.
4 English teachers should attend a course dealing with bilingual teaching and debating in the UK.
On top of that the teachers are asked to find out about EU projects in both countries.
We expect that we can improve our project, the lessons for other classes and the practice of the teaching languages.
All teachers shall be enabled to plan and lead international projects.
Aditionally we want to promote bilingual parts in lessons and to connect teaching subjects.
We expect an extention of openness towards European cooperation and want to show pupils the great opportunities they have for their further education and jobs.
