Verbesserung der Moderationsfähigkeiten für Lehrkräfte im Bilingualen Unterricht zur Internationalisierung

For several years our school has offered - with growing success and interest - bilinual subject teaching. Therefore it is necessary to qualify more teachers for this ability. The bilingual subject teaching is based on CLIL. Every day, teachers experience the exciting challenge to find and adjust suitable material for the needs and questions of bilingual subject teaching. There is an apparent problem for upper classes to meet the requirements of bilingual sibject teachuing. In the field of classes 7-10, there is a reasonable choice of material. Nevertheless every teacher has to match the material for the different groups of pupils; often teachers have to support the lessons by "Scaffoling". Gymnasium Ohmoor wants to qualify more teachers to require these challenges. The aim is to continue the studies of our established teachers to extend their knowledge about methods and didactics in the topic-related scholol subjects. In order to reach as many colleagues as possible, the trained teachers will share their new knowledge and competence with the other staff via internal training. Our school will provide preperation time as well as time to plan, discuss and solve possible questions and expectations concerning this training. Also the travel agent will help as he takes care of all kind of organisational matters. The project is perfomed in four steps: 1) Preperation/planning, creation of goals and expectations. 2) Participation in "CLIL"- training. 3) Evaluation of training as well as implementation and realisation of new skills into fbilingual subject teaching 4) Revision and evaluation - possilby modification and - hopefully - sending off new teachers. We hope that the lessons learnt will provide a distinct improvement for our bilingual subject teaching regarding methods and principles of teaching which will be motivating for our teachers and pupils alike.
