The reasons for this project are multileteral. One reason is to get to know new methods and ways of thinking, which will help us to effectuate the new curriculum. The main points in the curriculum are above other individualisation and differentiation. Equally important is the handling of heterogeneity. More over it is really important for the participant herself to extend her experiences in the intercultural area and to hand these new experiences and knowledge on to her pupils. Furthermore it is necessary that the participant's language ability will be deepened, extended and analysed. This stay abroad and the self-improvement should qualify the participant to bring the school one step closer to internationalisation and to broaden the students' horizon with regard to other countries and languages. This project has one participant. She is a trainee teacher with the subjects English, Physical Education and Computer Science. In addition she es very motivated, enthusiastic and interested in the culture of other countries and her own self-improvement. One of the most important reasons is the passing on of the newly won knowledge and insights which will be document during the project and subsequently provided for colleagues. Additionally there could be a presentation in one of the English symposiums. Concerning our participant we hope that she will get new motivation and inspiration as well as an expansion of her foreign language skills and the european horizon. A professional handling with new media is essential. Conserning our students we hope to get increased learning motivation and learning receptivity, a responsible handling with new media together with intercultural openess and sensitization.
