Verbesserung der Lerntechniken und beruflichen Chancen im Rahmen der Inklusion an Berufsbildenden Schulen

We chose the topic "Improving learning strategies and professional opportunities regarding inclusion at vovational colleges", because, as said, we are situated close to the Belgian and Luxembourgish borders. A lot of our vocational students from these countries had to study under different circumstances when they were clearly diagnosed with dyslexia, autism and other disabilities. In order to be able to deal with these learning deficiencies properly, our teachers need further training/education concerning new learning strategies and/or enhancing/improving our students' social skills. Since we have already been able to show some success after having visited some local seminars here, we would like to intensify our performance and therefore have chosen the seminar with the topic "New resources for classroom teaching", a seminar, which covers our above mentioned needs. Our 2-person team, which is supposed to visit this seminar, has already taken on work regarding this topic. These two will carry the results back and will spread the newly acquired knowledge among all other teachers concerned. In the following our school itself will implement the knowledge into daily classroom teaching. The whole project is justified by a plan of goals, which is surveyed/executed by the school. We hope that visiting this seminar and prosecuting this project will enable us to tremendously enhance the quality of teaching und thus increase the opportunities of our students of obtaining a job.
