"Improvement of the intercultural competence for interdisciplinary English lessons and internationalization" This long-term project was careful prepared during the period of one year. In the following two years of the project the aim is to improve the linguistic and intercultural ability of seven more teachers to enable them to mobilize other teachers and the pupils to reach higher results in their English lessons while showing a high level of commitment and enthusiasm for the English language and its use not only during English lessons but also in other subjects and everyday life. Another opportunity to make pupils and teachers aware of the great importance of English language for their communication is job-shadowing. Offering real communicative opportunities which are constantly initiated and instructed by the further educated teacher all find new fields of use having personal encouragement. We also aim for effective use of digital media. In this field our pupils already have experience and will be encouraged to challenge projects of higher quality and to improve their linguistic ability. All in all teaching English at a higher level at our school we can be hopeful that our pupils pass their official final exams successfully.
