"Improvement of the intercultural competence for interdisciplinary English lessons and internationalization" This long-term project needs a careful preparation which is supposed to be done during the period of one year. The aim is to improve the linguistic and intercultural ability of one teacher to enable her to mobilize other teachers and the pupils to reach higher results in their English lessons while showing a high level of commitment and enthusiasm for the English language and its use not only during English lessons but also in other subjects and everyday life. Offering real communicative opportunities which are constantly initiated and instructed by the further educated teacher it is to be reached that pupils and teachers are made aware of the great importance of English language for their communication with foreign partners and that they find new fields of use having personal encouragement. We also aim for effective use of digital media. In this field our pupils already have experience and will be encouraged to challenge projects of higher quality and to improve their linguistic ability. All in all teaching English at a higher level at our school we can be hopeful that our pupils pass their official final exams successfully.
