Raising skills in cross-curricular teaching, intercultural and cooperative learning and internationalisation. This two-year school education staff project aims to improve the international contacts and the pedagogical exchange. Alltogether, we intend so send out 9 teachers: Two teachers should spend two-weeks job-shadowing in our partner school in Putignano (Italy) in order to observe new methods of learning and teaching and cross-curricular teaching. Other two teachers will spend two weeks teaching around an eTwinning project that we developed together with our Italian partners. Five teachers will take part in an in-service training course abroad to develop the following skills: intercultural learning, cross-curricular teaching, project work at school, communication, use of eTwinning for international projects. Moreover these in-service training courses abroad should allow us to find potential partners for our future projects. We hope that the lessons learnt on the pedagogical use of cross-curricular and intercultural teaching and internationalisation will make our teaching more relevant and motivating to both teachers and pupils.
