The Hungarian Gastronomy National Association has made the project in which the association can provide the professional training and realisation of future aims. The project provides an opportunity for 24 Hungarian citizens, aged over 18 old, to participate in an internship abroad for 112 days (16 weeks), in hotels and catering facilities in the regions of Northern Italy (Friuli-Venezia-Giulia and Veneto), giving them the opportunity to learn and acquire new practical skills and methods related to food and hospitality, and developing their professional and linguistic skills, personality, intercultural relations and ability to build partnerships. They will experience the positive effect on the labour market. This program is also meant to facilitate the entrance in the labour market for the participants. Aim of the project is not only the professional development of young people but also their active engagement in the new environment: besides the working activities, they are given the possibility to explore Italy and the host city, its history, culture and gastronomy. Before leaving, an extensive and teambuilding oriented training will be organized for the participants. The training will set up according to the "Flipped Classroom" method, and will cover the areas of linguistic, culture, legal, work and health care and conflict management. A full insurance coverage will be provided, as well as meals, lodging and round-trip travel expenses for the entire period of mobility. Mentoring as well as professional, linguistic and cultural development will be facilitated by the following figures: a Cultural Mediator, a Hungarian teacher of Italian language, a native Italian tutor, a professional tutor and a Project Responsible, who will take care of the trainee for the whole length of the project. They will experience the positive effect on the labour market and Hungarian businesses can profit from their knowledge and skills. Young ones will strengthen the section of Hungarian Gastronomy National Association and the entrance and proffessional development become attractive for other students as well. Students may be motivated and encouraged to take part in different international competitions. The project provides an opportunity for 72 Hungarian trainee teachers from catering businesses and enterprises to participate in a scholastic trip abroad for 7 days. During their stay abroad we give them the opportunity to build partnerships according to the previously set programs. Aim of the project is to create a complex idea from choosing the right ingredients to preparation, serving and offering drinks During the professional development of cooks, waiters and restaurant managers it is necessary to choose the appropriate ingredients, compile menus for different occasions, prepare meals in front of the guests and learn more about healthy diet and way of life. Extending the learnt knowledge with new ideas it also helps to aquire new tools, technologies and international trends. One of the main aims is to promote the improvement of quality of education and national enterprise. After coming home the participants and trainee teachers perform and share their own ideas and experiences. We can expect the utilization of scholastic trip in the vocational education. In the association they can apply what they will learn and aquire especially in Schnitta competition and MIRBEST olympic for youth cooks.
