VANIA — Validation and certification of training in the field of European Cultural Cooperation Project Management

The project defines, in the cultural and artistic field, a comprehensive, standard review of skills and competences needed by future managers in cooperation projects, and introduces a European certification procedure which can also be useful for trainers of that specific profile; these coherent outcomes are achieved through a deep analysis and a study of the most innovative methodological approaches. The main strength of the project is the partners’ experience: they observe and compare the different training models offered in the field, consider the new points of view of experimental models, produce pedagogical and didactic strategies tightly interlinked with a significant needs analysis and with several innovative training techniques as well. Reference materials and data are also given, deriving from several sectoral researches and in some cases inspired by the training model that the same partners have been adopting for years. The overall project aims therefore at a basic meaningful objective: to create a research and work laboratory where the needs of a relatively new type of pan-European activity can be addressed with updated and coherent learning methodologies, with a database reporting good practices in the sector, with a desk informing about the opportunities of work and/or exchange of professionals among cultural organizations and institutions, with a recognition procedure of formal, non formal and informal skills that a panel of cultural managers from 30 countries will be updating on the website.
