Value created co-operation between local communities (Borderless)

The cooperation between the towns in the last couple of years has made it clear for the partners that all the residents, local institutions and managers as well, must and are able to make efforts in order to reduce their peripheral status. Within the project, one Hungarian and one Romanian local government establish long-term cooperation and continue its partnership started earlier. All activities are carried out together in both towns. The aim of the partners is to make use of the knowledge acquired on trainings, workshops and to develop both towns and regions due to the partnership and its multiplicative effects.The general objective of the project is development of cooperation between local communities (start of spontaneous local initiative, setting up mutual civil organizations)Target groups: population of Sarkadkeresztur (1869 inhabitants) and Csefa (2383 inhabitants) who are the participants and organisers of mutual events and organisations; students of school age, entrepreneurs, employees of administrative institutions and that of institutions governed by local-governments and the members of various civil organisations.The main specific activities of the project are: organizing project events as trainings, workshops, purchase tools and equipment, village festivals, civil days, excursions, camping, ensuring publicity.Main results: 24 project events realized in both village during the project; 5 notebooks, and one projector bought for organizing the events. The general expected result of the project is the real cooperation between institutions, citizens, entrepreneurs, private associations.
