The main objectives of the project are to identify vocational skills in the woodworking industry, to develop an online tool for the assessment and validation of the vocational skills in the sector and to create sector certificates to facilitate mobility of labour and recruitment of both labour to industry and students to vocational training. The certificates will provide a common European sector standard on the type of vocational competences that qualify for a professional certification. The target groups include workers in occupations (large, medium and small private enterprises) that are of vital interest for the European woodworking industry.
