Instead of a national perspective the project considers the Kattegat/Skagerrak basin as a centre for transportation and transfer of culture, commodities and industrial products. In this way cultural utterances which appear as regional divergences from a national perspective, are common traits seem from a Kattegat/Skagerrak point of view. The project «The cultural heritage of the Kattegat/Skagerrak basin» promoted the everyday integration through strengthening of the solidarity and knowledge. Achievements: The project collected and joined together pieces from the common cultural history of the Kattegat-Skagerrak basin and presented it from untraditional angles and approaches to defined target groups.
