Using local resources to develop social entrepreneurship (SOCPOD)

The main objective of the operation is to connect professional and interested public audiences on both sides of the border as well as to improve education of subjects with social-business ideas in Slovenia and Croatia. The object is to support research and development of new business products and services that are commercially interesting, enabling of development of social enterprises and the realization of higher added value as well as to provide support to the joint promotion and marketing of the products of the social economy in the border region. Increase working capacity and employability of people from vulnerable social groups in the development of viable social economy activity. Expected Results: The result of the project is to have a stranger cooperation and to have network between businesses and other organizations working in the field of social economics and entrepreneurship in Slovenia and Croatia. This should be reached through 32 Workshops for 4 MODULS (MODULE organic production and processing of grain, MODULE Organic production and processing of fruit, MODULE Organic production and processing vegetables and herbs, MODULE Sales of organic products), to have 3 Studies, 1 workshop for the preparation of psychosocial support program for employment of people from vulnerable social groups, 16 workshops for psychosocial support for the employment of people from vulnerable social groups, 1 demonstration workshop for networking social entrepreneurship subjects on both sides (Slovenia and Croatia).
