Use of Heat Pump Promotion in Barents Region (HePuPro)

Energy Efficiency is one of the central objectives for 2020 which aims to save the energy 20% by 2020. One of the key technologies of the Renewable Energy Source (RES) seen in the market is heat pumps. It is a key technology to achieve the European Union’s energy saving and climate protection targets. The HePuPro project aims to promote use of heat pumps in the Barents region and to increase economic development on energy cooperation in the Barents Region. Achievements: Project results: - Comparative study of the heat pump market potential in the Barents regions - Transfer of gained knowledge and information to authorities and public and private sector - The heat pump economic situation in the region is strengthened through dissemination of gained results.
