The project of internships "Arranging urban and rural landscape - landscape architects’ innovative skills and the success on the European labour market " was addressed to students attending schools which educate with respect to the needs of the so-called green sector. The schools that are members of the European network of schools EUROPEA International, have been cooperating for several years realizing mobility projects , partnership projects and others. The themes for mobility projects for high school students were indicated as one of the conclusions of the partnership LDV project "Future challenges for green sector schools ". The project therefore fully met the need for preparing graduates from rural and socially deprived areas to the functioning on the labour market. The group of 36 students, over a period of two weeks, participated in internship in Berlin ILLUT Brand. I Deule - Nienburg GmbH. The first group of 18 students, under the supervision of two teachers leaved in June, whereas the second group in September 2015. The internship took place in two different centers, in different environments and with the application of different methods of work, what was additionally support the exchange of experiences among the students . In DEULA students was mainly dealt with the establishment and maintenance of green roofs as a way to protect the environment, and in ILLUT students with concentrate on places of rest with the possibility of arranging it. During the internship, the students carried out two modules, giving them additional and attractive professional skills. During their work the students learnt innovative solutions, technologies of arrangement and caring for plants grown in artificial urban areas. They learnt how to choose the type of installation according to the existing conditions of infrastructure, surroundings, natural environment and climatic conditions. A roof and terrace arrangement is a growing service industry in Poland at the moment and one assumes that trainees successfully enters the labour market afterwards. The long-term results are the protection of the environment, particularly by reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and the aesthetic design of gardens on roofs diversifies and make urban space more eco-friendly. The second part dealt with the arrangement of a park and its aimed is the acquisition of skills related to parkland restoration and arrangement of small architecture compatible with the needs of the local community, preserving biodiversity etc. Innovative skills included combining styles in green areas. In addition, the participants have improved their German language abilities. They have learnt more about the culture of Germany and their way of organizing work. Their interpersonal skills have improved. They extended their knowledge of the culture and customs of the partner country and became more open-minded and mobile. Among the results of the internship is the increase in the number of green sector schools graduates who will with success enter the labour market in Poland and abroad. They are ready to set up their own businesses providing services of the presented above industries. The internship have prepared them to conduct business and provide innovative services. They also learnt about the diversification of non-agricultural activities. The participants received Europass MOBILITY certificates from the German partner confirming the acquired skills and a certificate of participation in the international project.
