UPORABA IKT V RAZREDU (ICT - USING TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM - LEVEL 1)
Start date: Dec 16, 2014, End date: Dec 15, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project aims at school's IT usage improvement. We believe that the present situation doesn't provide for the optimum results. In addition to other educational opportunities in eTwinning, we would benefit greatly from transferring knowledge and experience from a foreign to a local environment. Moreover, we think that participation and cooperation with other European countries contribute to the school qualitative factor and thus public reputation and presentation. Due to the integration in various projects, we have chosen one of our teachers to go to the United Kingdom to supply gained knowledge to the school staff. These new skills and knowledge are important not only in our everyday teaching, but also in various European activities – international experiences bring new ideas, new ways of thinking and new connections. Planned activities will take place before and after the training. Before the training some language and computer related preliminary activities will take place. After the training (and informal networking) activities involving all school staff will be held, e.g. they will attend the project and workshops presentation where they can acquire the use of new internet tools that are suitable for pedagogical work. Apart from that, we would like to present the project to the Scholastic group of tourism and economic modules, which is organized by the Centre for vocational education and training of the Republic of Slovenia. At the end of the project we hope to gain confidence and better understanding of European educational environment.
