UNIENDO FRONTERAS ATENCIÓN SOCIOSANITARIA EN PORTUGAL
Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The idea of applying for this project arises in view of the ongoing ageing of the population and, as a way for our students to increase not only their training, but also their chances to get a job.In this way, we can also take advantage of the nearness of the Portuguese border. This activity will make easier the intergenerational exchange of knowledge and experiences by knowing different realities and cultures. This stay aims the following:- to make education and vocational training more attractive- to improve their linguistic competences- to enhance the employability of students- to reinforce mobility in Europe- to favour social cohesion by means of intercultural dialogueThis mobility proposal is addressed to students in the middle level vocational training called “Assistance to people in dependency status” (Atención a Personas en Situación de Dependencia). It will take place from April to June 2017. Two students will take part in this migratory flow and they will stay in Lisbon (Portugal). The person in charge of the training in the working centres will perform a follow-up via the platform Moddle, by collecting regular information about the stay, which will be very useful to draw up a final report about this professional practice.Throughout this experience, the students, in an evironment different from their own, are supposed to:- acquire technical knowledge- establish relationships in the working environment- increase their maturity and social and working autonomy, showing in this way, their professional competences- appreciate and get a better knowledge of our Portuguese neighbours. The dissemination of this project in our school, either directly or via Internet, or social networks aims to promote future mobility actions where students and teachers in this school could engage.
