UNE MOBILITE EUROPEENNE DYNAMIQUE POUR DE FUTURS HOTELIERS AMBITIEUX
Start date: Aug 1, 2014, End date: Jul 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

EUROPEAN DYNAMIC MOBILITY FOR FUTURE AMBITIOUS HOTELKEEPERS. The Vocational High School Sainte-Anne in Saint-Nazaire welcomes more than 800 pupils and students (boys and girls) in all sectors of hospitality starting with the vocational training certificate (CAP) up to the bachelor degree in hospitality (Licence Professionnelle). The school has a long experience of finding work placements. Many pupils benefit from our extensive network of welcoming companies in France and abroad. Developed over a number of years, this network of partners was built with recognized and well-known hotels. However, we are constantly searching for new welcoming training professionals with the same goal of offering new prospects to all our trainees. The previous Leonardo projects of training mobility allowed to enrich the offer, the quality and the diversity of our partners. Besides, the spreading of enhanced work experiences has allowed us to elaborate upon the training systems and practical experience integrating an innovative approach. In accordance with the school project, the teaching staff has set a target to do everything possible using all favourable synergy to make young people blossom on both professional and personal levels in the European zone. The board of directors, the management organization of the school, the associations of parents and former pupils, the most representative professionals in these industries, the educational community of the high school would like to restore this opening dynamics onto the world. This work experience will be carried out in at least one of the following fields : cooking, service, hosting. In this difficult international context, hospitality and catering professionals concerned about transmitting their knowledge and values are permanently searching for motivated young people. During these numerous exchanges with our partners, they recursively underline the problems they encounter in recruiting high-quality staff who are open-minded and adaptable to new working methods. This project favours mobility, which is the essential quality in professional integration. In order to meet the expectations of requested and interested professionals, it seems essential and judicious to encourage the creation of pairs for placing students during their training in the following countries: the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain. The organisation of partners will be easy there. From 2014 to 2016 the objectives are: to open out onto the world, among other objectives, involving young people in the European citizenship; to develop their know-how from a professional point of view; to improve their social skills through this human experience rich in exchanges with new people. Respecting the dates in order to guarantee the success of this project which is composed of several important steps, allows the concordance of the evolution of the project with the defined objectives. As a part of a new Erasmus project 2014-2020, this one contributes to the development of young people thanks to the experience of the international culture. The ambassadors of the former projects within the high school aroused the desire for the mobility which is the vector of the development and the way to the European citizenship. All these actions further strengthen the reputation of the dynamic high school with regard to the profession, parents and future pupils. This project will allow students to become the ambassadors of a European culture within the high school and to perpetuate this innovative educational experience, by applying the following motto: FREEDOM - EQUALITY - MOBILITY.
