The project „Underdependencies (understanding dependencies)” is the seven day long non-formal education training course that was held in October 2014 in Latvia. The main goals of this training course were to address the problems of different dependencies between youth in society, empower youth workers with the necessary skills to deal with dependencies in their everyday work, build their professional development and capacity of their organizations, to arm participants with innovativeproblem solving methods and foster experience exchange between participants about the topic. Project was focused to promote participant personal development by giving them competences that are applicable in different fields, as well as provide opportunity to test acquainted skills in multicultural auditory. In order to achieve the project goals, participants tried to understand what it means tobe under dependencies, what are the side effects of dependencies, how to address the problems of dependencies to youth in appropriate manner, studied about education through sport methods, as well as promote healthy lifestyles by learning different non-formal education methods.The project was carried out by Kekava Municiaplity Sport Agency in close cooperation with partner organizations from Turkey, Italy, Romania and Lithuania. In total 25 youth workers, youth leaders from 6 different organizations were participating in this training course.
