The young people of the cross-border area still perceive the French-Belgian border as an obstacle. The language plays an important part in this, as Dutch is rarely spoken by young French people, while French is less and less practised by Flemish youth. In addition, they are hardly made aware of the history of the territory and do not benefit enough from the support towards art and culture.Taking into account these elements, the partners cooperate in the artistic field to reach a common crossborder identity. They pool their artistic competences and technical means (theatres, material, etc.) to producecross-border performances for and by young people.
