The last decades could be characterized by a strong technological change, increasing inter-dependencies among countries all over the world and an ever-changing labor-market with strong demands. Youth transition into an adult autonomous working life becomes a prolonged and complex issue. Youth employment ability is directly related to life independence. All the new documents- Europe 2020 and its flagship- emphasise on the employability as a key factor for development. Can non formal Education support unemployed youngsters? How can a youth worker tackle the rising unemployment challenge? In this TC we will try to find answers to such questions with an international group of youth workers using: 1. Critical reflections on how NFE methods can support employability. 2. Exploring links between learning to learn and civic competence and how they can positively contribute to unemployed youngsters empowerment. 3.Looking at EU funding opportunities that youth workers can use as instruments for developing youngsters E-factor. 4. Facilitating the sharing of experiences between European youth workers 5. Developing guidance skills for youth workers. TARGET GROUP People who works with youngsters in the educational field (educators, social workers, psychologists, teachers, volunteers in youth centres, project coordinators in youth community centres) and anyone who is interested and touched by the unemployment issue (areas with unemployment rate, dealing with project for unemployed or for entrepreneurship and self initiation, working with unemployed youngsters, working with youngsters from disadvantaged groups etc).
