Una scuola senza libri
Start date: Dec 1, 2014, End date: Nov 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our school is interested in comparing their experience of e-learning with a European partner already expert in ICT and with forefront setting. Our business plan contemplates the task of job shadowing at the Ørestad Gymnasium in Copenhagen that we believe the latest methods of learning that are recreated to active didactics. In detail we want to observe in daily activity the dynamics inside class groups and encourage, by precise questions, responses to various didactic problems/organizational that our experimentation has met over the years. This institution has in fact already faced and solved some problems concerning collaborative study between students and teamwork of teachers by providing learning environments that "force" the teachers to design differently educational activities and the boys to play an active role for the duration of the lessons. In particular, also the architecture school allows the setting is essential for new forms of teaching with multi-purpose environments in which students can stay every morning and afternoon in continuity, open classrooms, islands of tables for the kids, antlers and a grandstand, where the teacher can no longer rely only on exposition capacity and traditional methods, but must also design educational activities in which students can work on individualized and collaborative paths . After examination of good practice of Danish institute, we will adapt, where possible, the organizational structures and try to change learning environments. Regarding content and how to pass on knowledge and skills, our greatest interest focuses on linguistic disciplines (The foreign languages taught correspond exactly with those of the Danish institute and are German, English and Chinese) and on STEM disciplines in particular math. We want to bring the experience developed in the schools of northern Europe also in Italy by the network of contacts that we are gradually building. Objectives of job shadowing activity: 1. a greater expertise in the use of the technology in classroom, trying to get the best of already consolidated experience by partner school 2. new approaches of teaching STEM disciplines 3. creation of suitable environments to new shared didactics. Our contribution will be transmitting three- year experience of experimentation with the use of new technologies, exposing both positive results and critical aspects emerged from new teaching 4. new ideas for infrastructure management and individual device 5. opportunities of partnership with EU schools through new technologies (cloud, videoconf, etc. ) Organizational aspects Dean Andersen offered to hold us in their school in autumn. - Number of participants: 10 teachers, 5 representatives of the institutions of the Municipality of Milan.
