Search for European Projects

Una apuesta por la movilidad en Europa III
Start date: Sep 1, 2014, End date: Aug 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

With this project we try to provide to the students from the last course of the cycles of average degree of vocational trainning programme to realize part of their practices incompanies (FCT´s module) abroad in an european country different from their country. The period will last 4 weeks. We pretend our students to grow up personally and proffesionally with this project, to know other cultures from other european people and to get consciousness of the european citizenship. The countries which we have choosen are Italy and France. The students will be sent to these countries in couples and they are going to be selected with criterias that warrant the quality of the process and that the students have the same opportunity to be selected. In this project all the school community are involved - they have bet for including experiences in European projects in their educational programmes - and especially the departments of professional families that want to provide a wide offer to their students with the opportunity of realise part of the FCT module in other countries of the European Union through participation in European projects. The profile of students from our Vocational Trainning programmes in these cycles is middle - low social class, without experiences in outgoings abroad, a trained academic average, allowing them this project to complete their learning and expand their working expectations towards the European market, in an increasingly competitive and global labour world. This idea is reinforced beyond the problem of the Spanish labour market, with few expectations of finding a job students who finish their studies, difficulties that face our students enrolled in vocational training programmes in the municipality of Totana and its region. We pursue as objectives that our students acquire a more versatile professional profile and a greater personal maturity with the experience gained in these projects: living abroad, getting in touch with people from other cultures and having to use a different language which they don´t usually use, causing the development of skills and strategies that allow them to grow in maturity and in their professional profile due to being in contact with different production systems from their city. This experiences expand their job opportunities which they may incorporate them to their personal professional curriculum and it let them open the doors to working offers in other European countries. Another objective is that our students get in contact with other European cultures and that they communicate in other european language so it let them develop skills of tolerance and cultural concerns towards other European cultures. We also promote their linguistic skills in other European languages as well as developing an European citizenship. The expected results are: (a) to achieve 16 mobilities for students. (b) to disseminate professional experiences in these mobilities to promote in the future students concerns towards this type of experiences. (c) integrating these European experiences within our educational offer in vocational training. (d) fostering attitudes of tolerance and cultural concerns in our students towards other European cultures. (e) to develop the other European languages fluency. (f) to promote the spirit of European citizenship. (g) to expand job opportunities of our students in the European labour market. The mobilities will be developed between the next two courses from May to June in the second course of the cycles of Vocational Trainning programmes to complete the FCT module.
