ContextOur institution just is creating its international dimension in order to motivate students for foreign languages learning and to increase european citizenship spirit. VET students need experience in this way to get skill to improve their employability. This project continue a previous one with the Lycée Beau de Rochas who was the origin of our contact with the Digne Hospital Area where we start our experience of sending VET student.ObjectivesWe want to increase the lingüistic, social, personal and professional skills of every participant; to get solid relationships for future common projects at least with one more european institution; to enrich the relationship with French institutions; to include some of our partner companies here in our European experience; to spread our experience to schools around us and companies with whom we use to collaborate; to increase the number of participants; to improve the employability of VET students; to increase the VET studies attractiveness for secondary students and their families; gradually increase the international dimension of the school and, consequently, results in foreign languages learning and serve as model to other VET institutions to support their efforts with our experience. Profile of participantsThe participants will be selected first by their professional/technical capacity, their internazionalitation interest and a foreign language level enough to get succes with the activity. Second, students were also asked about enough psycho-emotional maturity degree and the staff were assessed for their previous professional experience in relation to each mobility characteristic. Activities4 Training placements in Digne Hospital Area,Receiving of two French Public Health System professional to teach in French to our students.Sending of a professional from one of our collaborating companies to teach to the students of the West College de Glasgow.Sending of one of our VET teachers to teach to the students of the Jesenice school.Job shadowing activity for two VET teacher at West College in Glasgow.Job shadowing activities for 3 VET teachers of different specialities in Jesenice school.Professional practice activity for one VET teacher in Nurse school at Digne les Bains Hospital.Methodology to be used A committee will select candidates via a public announcement, evaluating how well they fit the desired profile, their language skills, their experience, and a personal project. The school shall appoint a person team responsible for managing the course and its practical details, as well as mobility agreements (exchanges) with partner schools and participants.Before the exchanges take place, linguistic and cultural preparation will be provided via a course, giving the selected teachers and students access to different platforms and materials for preliminary work.During the exchanges, the school will have a central contact person.When the exchanges have been completed, the selection committee will oversee the documentation generated and develop the organization of outreach activities.When the project has been completed, Erasmus+ team will measure the impact and publish a final report.Brief description of the results, expected impact and long-term results.In participants: increased professional skills, language skills, and contact with foreign teachers. In colleagues: increased motivation to internationalize, knowledge of methodological tools and other educational systems, and participation with the contacts made. For students: a more innovative learning approach to French and English, contact with French students, and increased motivation to internationalize. In the school: improved internationalization and an increase in its general appeal, an improved workplace atmosphere and an increase in overall satisfaction, possibilities for addressing bilingual education, and opportunities for future partnerships with foreign institution.At the local and regional level, by means of the school’s annual “culture week.” At the provincial and regional level, there will be teacher centers to intervene in meetings that advertize the Erasmus+ program. At the national level, through the National Agency. At the international level, by taking advantage of professional networks and Erasmus KA2 projects. At all levels, via media diffusion: radio, newspaper, and the internet.
