Un Enfoque Interactivo: Las TIC y las lenguas extranjeras. ICT + LANGUAGES = getting success

Our project lasts for two school years, involved all the teaching staff and is addressed to improve the communication skills of our students in the area of English Language using ICT. Whereby a working model will be developed in the organization, development and evaluation of ICT for our students. This collaboration will take place between two elementary schools, one from Spain and one from Finland, and is based on a shared commitment to improve training and basic skills of students, teachers and families linked to ICTs, with the ultimate aim that the skills of students is improved, educational offerings and future prospects of joining the European labor market. The project includes not only the need for the exchange of ICT material (use of software), experiences in activities and methodologies, but also the exchange of two people a year through job shadowing. These objectives proposed are consistent with the action lines set out in the European Strategy "Education and Training 2020". In short, the educational practice will be more motivating for a generation linked to new technologies, while allowing that there is a more individualized development of personal skills, greater involvement of teachers in the use of ICT with students, in addition to establish a channel of communication between parents and schools through ICT. For the project, participating institutions receive impulses and inspirations to strengthen the European dimension of education. The project is conceived as an opportunity for our students and improving the quality of teaching and the exchange of people, ideas and projects is linked to the European objectives in education and lifelong learning and has a recognized value in improving educational systems.
