ÜRETİM SÜRECİNDE TASARIM UYGULAMALARI
Start date: Sep 15, 2014, End date: Sep 14, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

We consider our project to be very important, in the city of Erzincan, in helping young people to find jobs in the field of computer based fashion design. By participating in this project students will have the opportunity to train in a European vocational centre. At the end of the training they will have the necessary certification to obtain a job in their chosen field. The aim of the project is for students to learn design techniques, marketing strategies, brand management and how to use the necessary computer programmes. We also aim to encourage students to use their initiative and creativity to come up with new techniques and ideas. Another aim is for students to learn how to choose the correct materials for their designs, and most importantly to learn the right marketing skills to distribute their products. The textile industry is very important in Turkey and due to the cheap labour in countries such as China many leading companies outsource their business to such countries. The fashion sector in Turkey are now realising the importance in having qualified designers working for Turkish companies so that we may retain business in the fashion industry. By taking part in our projects young people will become more cultured and disciplined and will improve their knowledge of the language and vocabulary in this sector. We will collaborate with our partner continuously.Study design, market analysis, product development, development of technical drawings, computer aided manufacturing design, brand management, konspt development, will include topics such as preparation of designs. Unfortunately, in Turkey, the vocational education in this sector is of a lesser standard than in Europe and the computer programmes are not up to date. Students therefore do not have the appropriate resources available to them to become sufficiently qualified in the field. We offer this project in the hopes that the students taking part can gain the necessary skills and qualifications so that they may return to Turkey fully efficient in the design industry. Our project will take place in April 2015 and will partner with an English vocational school.Consists of 15 students, 3 teachers companion.12.class students in the field of graphics and the field of technology which produces clothing will take place as participants in our project.Participants consist of underprivileged girls.
