This project aims to inform Turkish young people and start an interactive preparation and communication process for their future EU citizenship. The EU integration process of a country is a multi directional procedure that includes economic, social and legal transition for its citizens. Along the lenghty EU integration process of Turkey, there are social, economic and civil issues that people, especially the young people, are unaware or misinformed about. Since the youth is the most dynamic and effective social class of a nation, this project targeted to inform young university students about some main economic, social and civil subjects regarding the EU integration process and prepare them for their future EU citizenship and social life. In this context, the project aims to give a compact European perspective to multiple issues of being an active EU citizen. The main themes of the project are the employment of the youth, their active participation to the society, their role in the sustainable economic development and globalization.The attendants of this project will be 100 university students and young academicians from 18 universities of Turkey. The activities will take three days. They are consisted of informative and interactive seminars from academicians that will provide true knowledge and compact perspective to be an active European and citizen. Also there wil be multi task workshops that will offer an atmosphere to the attendants for discussing the issues regarding the themes of the project. There will be social gatherings that enable the attendants to build and enhance their social network in the context of EU.
