Project background: Because of an increased globalisation we would like to develop the approach of the staff and the students to the intercultural world. We are a school in a rural area with several years experience with projects locally and globally and have acquired a solid background for a future international projects. A future school reform in Denmark with an increased focus on implementation of foreign languages and new standards for coorperation means that it is beneficial for us to continue and develop our tradition we already have at our school. Firstly we sent a mixed group from the staff - some with experience within the international projects - some without experience. But everyone with desire and competences to develop a project and improve own language skills. In Portugal all staff members are prepared to design the project which we afterwards will implement in the school. We expect a longterm effect in a dynamic cooperation and to become a natural part of our work with the students.
