The project is run by an adult education organisation and it aims at heightening education quality in the area of English Language Teaching including Business English as a specialised language. The project is the answer to the diagnosed needs for teacher's development, employing new, up-to-date methods and methodologies as well as improvement of teaching and linguistic competency of the project participant and the institution employees. The aim is to improve the quality of English teaching in the institution. In order to achieve this goal, two mobilities for one participant has been planned, i.e. a development course for adult English teacher and a Business English teaching course in two English-speaking countries - the UK and Malta (English as the second official language). The project methodology is UPMM (Unified Project Management Methodology). The planned results are as follows: 1. higher level of language competency through staying in an English-speaking country, 2. new techniques and methodologies acquisition, learning other methods which were not used in the organisation, 3. improving staring contact skills/ starting co-operation - the opportunity for finding a partner organisation from EU, 4. learning other participants' education systems, 5. improving European dimension of the organisation, 6. improving competencies and knowledge of the organisation employees by sharing the knowledge and experience in internal trainings, 7. promoting knowledge and experience sharing. The project influences on the participant, the organisation and its employees/teachers (internal trainings), other (willing) teachers of different institutions (workshops), students in the organisation, co-operators, local society and international one (the mobility participants, possible European partners). Possible, long-term benefits are the knowledge and experience implementation to the organisation, which results in improving quality of teaching, internationalisation, improving European dimension of the organisation, and at the same time attractiveness of the organisation for potential co-operation educational partner.
