The project of the internship in Italy (Rimini) entitled „PZS Bierun students - on their way to development of profesionals skills in IT branch” has been planned for a group of 21 students of Vocational Technical High School for Computer Science in Powiatowy Zespół Szkół in Bieruń. In the framework of the project there are planned two mobilities: in April 2016 and in March 2017. The project responds to students' needs and it is in accordance with European Plan of Development of our school. The project will be fulfilled with cooperation of the intermediating company Sistema Turismo. It is an institution, which has considerable experience in realization of a large number of projects and it has been organising foreign internships in Italy for years. For 21 IT technicians Sistema Turismo will organise suitable places of internship, where the students will perform tasks agreeable with internship plan, which was worked out together with the partner. The participants will do four-week work experience as part of vocational training comprised in the school curriculum in the years 2016 and 2017. The internships will be held in companies, which have rich didactic experience as well as technical facilities and staff. During the internship IT technicians will prepare computer workstations with peripherials, diagnose and repair them as well as design and administer computer networks, websites and databases. The intermediating company will provide the project participants with accommodation, board, monthly pass for public transport. In addition, the company will monitor and evaluate the project. The main goals of the internship are: • increase and practice of information competence • increase of language and social competence (Italian, English) • Getting to know the Italian labour market • reduction of the youth unemployment • improvement of the knowledge and skills concerning functioning of modern companies on the market • mastering the interpersonal communication skills • easiness of making new contacts with people • adaptation to new conditions • possibility to learn how to live and work with people from different nationalities and cultures • boosting geographical mobility Taking part in the project will give students the chance to gain new job experience, it will also enable them to break the language barrier both in everyday and vocational situations. What is more, participants can learn responsibility and self-reliance as well as coping with new, often stressful situations. Thanks to the opportunity of getting to know modern techniques, equipment and work organization, the students can become precious workers in the future. They will have contact with technical novelties, modern equipment and advanced technologies. All these activities will result in better and more efficient functioning on the labour market and the gained experience will be brought to students' native country. Participants will get acquainted with different work culture and will be able to compare educational systems of both countries. Moreover, apprentices will be learning resourcefulness, enterpreneurship and ability to make courageous market decisions. They will be able to share the good practices with their schoolmates and teachers. Also, students can take advantage of gained experience in their future jobs, which may result in productivity growth. Not only will participants receive certificates confirming doing the internship and its programme, but also Europass Mobility Certificate , which validates acquired vocational competences within the range of undergone practice. Owing to these experiences and received documents students' chances on the labour market will grow. Before going to Erasmus project, students will take part in workshops with counselor and psychologist, thanks to which they will find it easier to adapt to new situations. Participants will also have the chance to prepare linguistically, they will meet the habits and culture of Italy and will learn Italian on communicative level, which may be an asset while searching for a job in companies cooperating with Italy (all participants are taught English at school). Owing to applying European credit transfer and accumulation system in the project, students will be able to develop professionally through easier acquiring qualifications, incorporating the principle of lifelong learning. The project will be monitored by the headmaster of PZS Bieruń and by the coordinator. At each stage of the project realization, evaluation will be carried out in order to care for the highest quality. After each mobility there will be implemented activities, whose goals are popularization of the effects of the project. The participants will receive full logistic support as far as travel organization, insurance and stay in Italy are concerned.
