In 13 years of working, POU Libar has seen that in adult education something is missing. After we analyzed the background of our learners, discussed with teachers and the development of ICT technologies we realized that Open University Libar must go one step forward: to introduce elearning as an official method of learning. On that way, teaching materials will become available to everyone, more interactive and more interesting and easier to learn. To achieve this we must start from the beginning. First we need to train our teachers how to create elearning quality materials. Therefore, we want to send four of our experienced teachers to a structured course on which they will learn how to work with Adobe Captivate software. Opinion of many designers and ICT professionals is that Adobe Captivate is currently the best software for creating interactive content. After about four months after returning from mobility, teachers will create interactive content from couple teaching units and will present their work to other lecturers / professors. On that way, they will show to professors how elearning can contribute to process of teaching and learning, for both them and their participants. Also they will show them that the designing of interactive content is not so difficult work if you know at least how to make power point presentations. Interactive materials which have been made, POU Libar will record on a CD or set on the web page, making materials accessible to all participants/learners. After that, Open University Libar will organize the "in house" training where the professors (mobility staff) will teach other professors how to work with Adobe Captivate software. Our school wants to create a positive atmosphere and encourage teachers / professionals to create interactive teaching content. All final products will be regularly published on our website. Everyone will benefit from this project: Open University Libar, learners and professors. Open University Libar will reduce the number of ineffective consultation and done better education, students could prepare better for classes and exams at home, and professors could complement their lectures with additional information and quizzes. Probably, more adult learners will decide to study when they know that they can learn and from home / online. Of course that this project would not be finished with it. We will develop e learning materials and for vocational subjects. The project aims is to make knowledge accessible to all learners wherever they live. To reach this goal we need first to develop competencies of professors so that they know how to create interactive content.
