This project brings together two professional basketball clubs in the cross border region, to promote european citizenship and greater social inclusion through sport, and to co-operate on the development of the business and social outreach practices.The project will include the delivery of coaching/learning/motivational programmes, (which will include exchange visits) to mixed groups of at risk citizens from deprived areas and family learning groups, with an emphasis on basic and employment skills development,cultural awareness and language training.The project will also develop co-operative working between the clubs, including exchange visits,as a means of developing their competitiveness on and off the court.
