The project "TR-BLR” will be realized in Hrodna, Belarus during 9 months from October 1st, 2015 till July 1st, 2016. The Belarusian organisation will host 1 volunteer from Turkey. There are several main activities are proposed to the volunteer: • Intercultural Activities (Cultural cafe "Hrodna InterCult") • Journalistic Activities (Blog and Facebook page "UnForeigners in Hrodna") • Non-Formal Educational Activities (Turkish course, English Speaking Club, Workshops and presentations for local youth) The main objectives of this project are European awareness, fostering youth participation, increasing intercultural dialogue, increasing intergenerational understanding. We expect that local youth, as well as all the participants and promoters of this project will develop their international communication skills and sense of tolerance, will learn more about each other's culture and traditions. Besides, the project will help to decrease the generation gap between the young and elderly people. Also the project can become the beginning of a long-term cooperation between Belarusian and Turkish organisations.
