TUNRail is a policy oriented measures project intended to "tune" and intensify the railway highereducation knowledge exchange and collaboration between the EU and the US. More specifically,this project uses benchmarking and comparisons to investigate the current programs, and onidentifying how well they address the key aspects of modem railway systems. The projectincreases transparency, identifies similarities and differences between railway systems andeducational programs, and provides a solid foundation for more extensive cooperation and for theestablishment of new programs on both sides of the Atlantic.
