Overall objective: improvement and full utilisation of tourism potential in trans-border areas.Specific objectives: 1/ preservation of cultural heritage, historical monuments of art and architecture, and creating tourism infrastructure within/next to historical monuments; 2/ Promotion of cultural heritage, and monuments of Partnership regions on both sides of the border; 3/ Developing of good neighbourly trans border cooperation. Project activities:- Damp-proof insulation of the pilgrimage courtyard of the Virgin Mary basilica in Stara Wieś and the viridarium of the Parish Home - Conservation, restoration and modernisation of the pipe organ mechanism in the basilica church - Fitting the auxiliary tourism infrastructure (parking lot, pedestrian access route) around the Stara Wieś compound - Upgrading the Information Centre for Tourists and Pilgrims in Stara Wieś – remodelling of the existing building, and adding a new extension - Reconstruction of the baroque Jesuit garden – "The Biblical Garden – land of milk and honey – Renovation of the Castle in Zhovka - Promotion and Information Campaign Expected Results: Churchs wall (façade) and chapels renovated, damp-proof insulation fitted – 1 set1 Pipe organs in the church renovated (PL)1 Information Centre for Tourists and Pilgrims rebuilt and extended with a new part (PL)1 auxiliary tourist infrastructure constructed - parking lot (PL)1 new tourist product created within the Jesuit compound in Stara Wieś - "The Biblical Garden – land of milk and honey (PL)1 Renovated Castle in Żółkiew (Zhovkva) (UA)2 opening ceremonies: 1 in PL, 1 in UA2 closing ceremonies 1 in PL, 1 in UAIn total 200 participants of opening and closing ceremonies (50 participants in each ceremony).1 Promotion and Information Campaign
