TRANSFERRING EUROPEAN TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR THE QUALIFICATOION OF NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING PERSONNEL

TRANSFER PROQUALINDT is a project developed in the framework of the European Training Programme Leonardo da Vinci, promoted by the National Occupational Vocational Training Centre in Cartagena (CNFPO –Spain), and in which the participating partners are AEND (Spain), CNDT (Czech Rep), MAROVISZ (Hungary), CrSNDT (Croatia) and RELACRE (Portugal).The project was born as a need to continue with a previous project (PROQUALINDT), promoted by CNFPO and developed in the framework of Leonardo da Vinci programme too, and in which also AEND participated as a partner together with BINDT (United Kingdom), COFREND (France) and DGZfP (Germany). The aim was to obtain a common tool for all participants' countries for the training of the Non Destructive Testing personnel focused to the certification procedures recommended in the ISO 9712 and EN 473 standards.Thus, Didactic Guides and Study Manuals for the five most common inspection techniques were obtained, with the necessary contents for the three existing levels of qualification, and available in the languages of the participant partners (German, Spanish, French and English). The five methods discussed were: RT - Radiographic Testing; PT - Penetrant Testing; MT- Magnetic Particles Testing; UT - Ultrasonic Testing; ET - Eddy Current TestingIn this new project TRANSFER PROQUALINDT, all of these elaborated material have been used as a reference, and undergone to a procedure of reviewing and updating, using on the one hand the accumulated experience in the use of the existing materials, and on the other adapting within the harmonization process of the standard listed before to the new EN ISO 9712.
